DSD June 9, 2017: "L.O.V.E." - Futurelight
Shaun Cordingley
Welcome to the "Daily Song Drop": theguysfrom.com's song of the day feature where our resident indie music writer and former DJ Shaun Cordingley features a song every weekday that he feels you need to hear.
L.O.V.E. - Futurelight
Polish genre-fusing pop band Futurelight's fun and catchy single "L.O.V.E." is going to wrap up the Daily Song Drop for this week, and I think it is going to probably get a smile on your face.
Check out the official video below:
"L.O.V.E" is a song that combines elements from EDM, sythnpop, and maybe even a little bit of alternative rock together into a song that makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside that I can't help but include it here, and on some of my future summer playlists. That use of synth-y flute (?) with the great guitar AND bass riff, all backing up some excellent vocals (and a chorus that is going to be stuck with you forever) just elevates "L.O.V.E" to another level of catchy fun.
As my Polish is...non-existent, I cannot say that I know much else that we can talk about when it comes to Futurelight, but I do know that I will be keeping an eye-out for more of their genre-bending releases in the future.
Here's the May 2017 DSD Playlist! We're only missing one track this month (and I'll hopefully be able to add it in later)! It's wonderful, as always, but that should be assumed when I'm making playlists of nothing but songs I enjoy...
ICYMI (somehow) here is the DSD Playlist - Apr 17, DSD Playlist - Mar 17 , and there's also one kicking around for DSD Playlist - Feb 17 too!
Remember, if you want me to put these playlists on other services (like Spotify), let me know on Twitter (I've linked it below)
If you're looking for more great music, are late to the party, or just want more theguysfrom.com in your day, here are the playlists for:

There are other (earlier) playlists available for you if you check older "Tuesday Tunes" articles, or search on Apple Music itself.
See you again next week!

The Guys From do not hold the rights to any "Daily Song Drop" songs, it is more our hope to expose our readers to new and different music that we are enjoying, or re-expose them to artists they may have forgotten about.
Above the description of the song will be the song name, followed by the artists' name linked to their website, so you can fall down the rabbit hole, finding and supporting what you dig.
